Kai is an echidna who was briefly sexually involved with {zchar:gwen} during their first year at university. After a date where they accidentally went to a cinema that had closed down, they went back to Gwen's student room, where they ended up watching her appearance on {zshow:iz}, after which he lost his virginity to her. They saw each other a few more times but drifted apart with no ill feelings towards each other.

==== Influences ====

Kai was based on a Sonic-sona that Iron-K had when he was a teenager, a metallic grey echidna. The original character was blind with solid yellow eyes, but instead possessed a sixth sense vision that let him see things more truly than sighted people could, or some bollocks like that. His first name was chosen to be phoenetically close to the sound of the letter K.
